Vincent turns care into action

Vincent de Paul was a priest in France. He noticed people who needed food, care, and companionship. He wanted help to reach them in practical ways.

Vincent knew one person could not do everything alone. He worked with others to organize service. Together with Louise de Marillac, he helped establish the Daughters of Charity.

Their work reminds us that love includes planning and cooperation. Someone might prepare food, another person might deliver it, and someone else might spend time listening. Each part matters.

You can join in service with a parent, teacher, or parish group. Ask what is actually needed before deciding how to help. Respect the people you meet: everyone deserves kindness and dignity.
