Open the .ics file in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook, or another calendar app. Check the time zone and alerts before saving. Google Calendar imports files from Settings → Import & export on a computer. Your calendar must allow notifications; importing does not itself confirm alerts are enabled.
